Our first Christmas in the new place – the festive cheer has reached the Phua’s residence.

The tree was finally put up last night, the delay was due to the mad shopping scramble for Christmas presents and groceries for the Eve’s dinner at our humble abode. The fogies been busy in the kitchen since last night, there’s some amazing smell coming out from there :). [Dad’s trying a new creation – curry based glutinous rice for the Turkey stuffing this year *fingers crossed* that it turns out good. We’re all going to be guinea pigs on Christmas Eve].

Christmas is such a special time of the year for us; every year I reminisce and wish I was celebrating in NY but deep within, I know there’s no place I rather be then at home with my fogies and loved ones in Singapore.

I hope all of you have a wonderful time of togetherness with your loved ones this Christmas – whether it’s a simple, quiet evening or joyous partying as long as there’s togetherness and merry-making with those that matters. Oh yes, not forgetting Christmas feasting 🙂
