Hope everyone’s having a splendid start to the week!
The private bus that I take to work every morning has decided to quit on us – so poor o’l me has been braving the morning MRT madness (with a good pair of flats ya). With all honesty, it’s been pretty ok …probably cause I make it a point to get out of the house before the morning light beckons *big, grumpy yawn*.
Last Thursday, I had a rather eventful night with some wonderful peeps of mine. What a coincidence that Thursday was also Chinese Valentine’s Day, not that I celebrate – have anyone to celebrate or give two shite about it, but it was nice to know I was out having a good time on a day, which certain peeps/acquaintances in N.E. Asia were having candlelight dinners and being all lovey-dovey hur hur.
It was Martini Night with my darling Shir at Mezza 9 – had me in stitches from all the ‘goes downhill at 40’, ‘ suck in tummy’, ‘ oh …pls you’ll only like ANG MOhs‘ jokes. We got some zany humour and hilarious topics that just goes down too well with a yummy martini…(1 is enough for me) and some light snacks. Need more of such nights with the gfs!

I then met up with an old uni friend, whom I haven’t seen since graduation. Boy has he changed – the same cheeky smile with a dash of charm and maturity. It’s meeting such friends from those days that makes me feel ever so grateful for the experiences and memories. Bittersweet ones but definitely worth holding onto.
Not sure when we’ll have a chance to catch up again – but I do hope soon!
C sent me some really nice words of wisdom and thought it would be nice to share it here with ya’ll.
No matter how bad things maybe in your life now, just remember it’s only as bad as you think it is..change your perspective, inject some positivity, and SMILE …and the universe will find a way to smile buckets back at you!
