Sorry for the radio silence.

I just got back from Bali with the girlfriends – a girlie trip for S before her big day. It was the first time to Bali for us all, hence the trip consist a good mixture of touristy places, spa visits and chilling with a glass of wine in the pool. The only cons of the touristy bits was the time spent traveling – we didn’t have much luck in the chosen route, which either had a village ceremony going on that lead to major road obstructions that lasted a good hour or just plain traffic jams leading to the tourist attractions. We were all tempted to get our butts onto a scooter! Next time, that shall be my mode of travel but under the Bali sun? Let me think about it again…hehe.

There’s some beautiful pictures of Uluwatu and Rock Bar to share – will get them sorted out this weekend.

Leaving this post with a few thoughts that were sprouting through my mind on the trip:

– Good friends don’t necessary equate to good traveling companions. Still, don’t let that ruin the fun, take it as your “meeting” the other bits of your friend that you never know. It could either lead to another trip in the future or a big fat NO!

– If traveling with some that you’re not too familiar with – be open to accept their views ( make sure it’s a two way street) and don’t pass judgments that will belittle others. Oh yes, I’m ultra sensitive to such comments and will become a total bitch if I hear such comments. Personal development from my end – unleash the PR in me when such comments comes through, it really takes a whole load of me to do that and not lash out the STFU!

– This trip had me think a lot of my dear ones back home – my parents and those few that are more than just friends but family to me. It’s just so me to be in such a beautiful place like Bali and wish that the folks and those few were there sharing the beautiful sunset with me.

There’s nothing like sharing the beautiful stuff in life with those that matters the most. Bali, you made me appreciate those very special ones in my life even more.
