I don’t know about you guys out there but I got this serious love/hate relationship with my hair.

It has gotten better with age and found myself very accommodating towards conservative, classic (or reads: boring) styles rather than the cut it so short that my Mum screams ‘what’s happened to my daughter?’ kind of look. Me thinks that particular hairstyle probably won’t go down too well in the corporate environment too. Ahh, the perils of growing up and trying to move about in the rat race.

In the past, my hairstyle would mirror the chapters in my life – long when I was happily in love (or because the boyfriend likes long hair and of course with age, you just tell the guy to sock it up if he says he prefers long hair), cutting it all off when I embark or end a certain journey in life… you get my drift right?

Anyways, in our last day in HK we decided that we wanted to get our hair done and leave the place with a new look. OMFG *excuse the language* it could go down as the e worst decision of 2011 – to cut it short, I came back home with hair resembling weeds in barren land, two horrifying sessions of damage recovery and couple of hundreds poorer to have hair looking ….relatively “normal”.

It’s still no where near normal but if you saw pictures of pre-damage recovery, you’ll know what I mean. So yes, here’s to more hair treatments and silent prayers of ‘Hair, please grow will you, pretty please’.
