Not sure how it correlates with each other, but being sick has surge on a HUGE baking fever the last few days for someone who is by no means savvy in the baking department. Heck, I’m hardly in the kitchen….. 🙂
However, it’s been mad fun combing through the net for recipes, playing around with our own estimation – “urgggh, I think 1 cup of sugar/ 1 teaspoon of baking soda …can lah!”- and praying with all our might that it turns out edible.
Today’s attempt – bananas and walnut cake. Now all you bakers out there, pls tell me why my cake is way too moist and it droops down in the middle?!!
But I must say, it doesn’t taste that bad…actually it’s quite yummy *pat on the shoulder* and goes down nicely with a cup of early grey – great afternoon snack ( or pre- medicine snack).
