Pretty chuff with myself for completing 5 novels in the last two weeks.
I was making up for lost time (the lack of meeting my reading quota for 2017) and knowing that as semester 2 commence (damn those textbooks-reading) along with the insane work travels to wind up the year, free time for yoga and reading will go down few notches. I do need to work on balancing this aspect of my life better.
Stocktake of what I’ve read so far:
No one can pronounce my name – Rakesh Satyal
Luckiest Girl Alive – Jessica Knoll
When Dimple met Rishi – Sandhya Menon
Stay with Me – Ayobami Adebayo
A Tale for Time Being – Ruth Ozeki
Finished the last book on the list on my flight to Bangkok – and if I was to stack rank my top 3 – A Tale for Time Being, Stay way me and No one can pronounce my name.
The NLB app has a pretty good selection of e-books for me to borrow. Now let’s see if I can manage to squeeze in the two that’s yet to expire.
