Sunday was spent hanging out at E’s place. The dearie whipped up a simple but oh-so delicious carbo-laden (reads: my feel good food) lunch of traditional carbonara pasta (no cream or cheese used). The pasta was lightly tossed with bacon, onion, eggs and olive oil – simple ingredients used but as like all simple dishes there must be a certain cooking technique and key ingredients which makes the dish a total winner.

In this case – it was cooked with love. I know it sounds so cliche, but I can’t find a better way to describe how much the simple home cooked meal meant to me.

Thank you, sister from another mother 🙂
