Enjoyed a nice after work dinner and chill-out session with a good pal last Tuesday. Similar taste buds and preferences so it wasn’t a downer trying to think of a place to eat and near both our workplace – Original Sin.

I haven’t been to Original Sin this year and was sorely missing the food, despite not liking very much the lunch I had there last year. Anyways, she made sure I got my ass out of the office on time for us to grab a table outside, soaking in the evening hue and cool breeze.

We started the dinner with the mezze platter to share – I went easy on the pita bread, breaking it down into many pieces so that I can slowly, easily savor my favorite dip: hummus chick pea. I. can. eat. this. EVERY.DAY.

Next up was our mains-  Moussaka for the pal, who scrapped the plate cleaned and said the dish was the hearty, comfort food she needed after a cell-draining day at work.

Whilst I had the Principessa, which was a lovely tossed of mesclun, pumpkin, avocados, asparagus, beans etc with a tinge of balsamic vinaigrette. Refreshing, light and easy on the tummy.

Now that the proximity of the new office is so near Original Sin, I’ll surely be arranging more dinner dates there and of course HV area, for the compromising peeps towards my inclination of ” 吃草”
