I’m one of those girls that can never keep to a certain bracelet, necklace or ring on me for long. At times, will come along a certain piece of jewelery that I absolutely adore and wear it for months, but sooner or latter the passion will run dry.
My ultimate love is jade – I can’t wait till the day I can don a jade bracelet, heirloom from the Grandma. The Mother doesn’t think it’s time yet, she has her own weird belief on it, which I chose to entertain purely out of love and respect for the woman. The story has to do with my own 8 characters and whatnot, which I shall refrain from knowing too much off.
Anyways, on my last trip to Taipei – it was my first work trip after the promotion and I thought heck, I owe myself a treat. I fancied the idea of creating a story, uniquely yours through the Pandora bracelet and charms – my kind of marketing gimmick. Morever, the bracelet sits nicely on my wrist (reads: doesn’t get in the way, the charms doesn’t clang with every movement etc) , unlike the Tiffany or Thomas Sabo bracelet- don’t get me wrong, I love it all equally as the latter were gifted by the dear ones, but the Pandora is just an everyday accessory that I know I’ll stick with and it’s very …me.
Three very special charms has been added – thank god I was talked out of getting the monkey charm (my Chinese zodiac sign) last night, it’s utterly horrid but I do intend to add the snake and rabbit sometime down the road ..to signify the folks. My pillars.
It’s gonna be a fun journey I foresee, my charms and I.
