The essence of our catch up was to make up for lost time. We’ve not seen each other in 6 months over some insignificant squabble and whathaveyounots. Things have changed between us, we’ve grown apart from each other seeking new directions in life and responsibilities but today’s session has further drilled into me that such friendships are not easily discarded, it’s for life.

We talked freely, laugh loudly and shared windows of memories of the past 6 months, during the absence in each others’ lives. Did we touch on the insignificant squabble? No, we didn’t find a need too. We were too busy filling our tummies with a simple brunch and our friendship heart with grace and thanks for giving us the chance to come together on this holy day.
