Despite the mediocre reviews on Paul Bakery, the GFs and I arranged for our March catch-up session there. Being a Thursday, the long weekend queues were amiss and we got our tables as soon as we waltzed in.

Sher was running late, so we took the plunge to order for her since she claimed “she’ll eat anything” haha. We opt for the salmon tart, croque, crepe and a salad to share – the greens on all dishes were refreshing, otherwise it was plainly normal but proper food to fill the tummy.

The desserts on the other hand was the saving grace, ordered the lemon tart and millefeuille, which was pretty decent to satiate our sweet tooth. Dessert nibbles needed some hot cuppa along with it, so we each had a cup of hot milk (hazelnut and vanilla flava for Sher and I) and hot choco.

The food was secondary to be honest, it’s been sometime since our last “bitching session”- we’ve been pretty much tied down in Feb and March due to work trips, personal trips, house move etc; so it was good to set aside sometime before April beckons for some good o’l catching up, laughs and encouragement.
