Getting back to the office after a 5 days (let’s include the weekends) lapse from work emails and whatnot was rather panick -attack inducing for me. A good cup of kopi- c from the canteen, my trusty notebook and a few deep breaths was the way to get going.

Work is never ending ..which I know but have yet mastered the ability to let some work issues or follow-ups ride onto the next day. It’s amazingly difficult when you know the next day or two, there’s gonna be people pounding you for it. Silver lining for all of this – I like my job, I like the people I deal with. Yes, there’s certain work processes (or the lack off) that drives me looney but the distinction of liking it is drawn very clearly.

Anyways, to balance out the inevitable pressure or long hours at work, I’ve resolute to spice up my exercise regime by incorporating evening jogs/run – comfortable pace (3 x week), not an excuse to give this amiss when I have a really nice park few steps away from my place, along with strength training (2 x week) that I’ve been quite consistent with every weekend.

Yesterday’s cardio activity was a good start in bringing running back to the exercise regime, especially when I’ve refrained from running after breaking out in horrendous hives few months back. 4.04 KM , 30. 16 min – not fantastic but considering there was no breakouts or horrendous itching, I’ll say it’s a fantastic start.
