Can you believe how time whizzes us by? We’re in the last rut of 2011 and pretty soon, 2012 will be making it’s grand entrance.

My learnings for the month of November;

– Somethings really don’t change, age or distance has proven no damper to our friendship. Jakarta 2011 : I miss you two crazy nuts!
– Being happy and comfortable in one’s own shadow and thoughts is a lonely affair but time for growth and reflection
– The ones you thought will always be there, may not at the end of the day
– Accepting that I don’t want a fancy trip or bag to end the year, but to go beyond and do something for my soul and inner-self

And with the above, I stride into December with a few pointers/plans in my head;

– To embark on a emotional journey of learning the human psyche and most importantly, mine. I may come out of that two day course enlighten or detesting what I’ve learnt, but it’s a journey that I desperately seek
– To be blessed with the opportunity to rekindle new friendships – meeting J and her little girl in KL next week, W this week and I wonder who else 🙂
– To accept, easier said than done but…to simply accept
– To embrace the festive season with an open heart and love. Nothing but love. Putting aside all pains, regrets, hatred and relishing that it has strengthen and made me a much better person

Leaving you with some pics from Jakarta;

Mango Sambal (all-time fav) – it’s a dish of it’s own when mix with rice!

Heavenly Avocado milkshake, just one will do …

This was my staple food during Perth days …GadoGado, had to give this a try on my first trip to Jakarta
