Dad’s 60th Birthday was a three day affair in Hong Kong. There was nothing on the itinerary except for eating, merry-making, massages and more EATING. The god-brother was in town and the smiles on the fogies’ face was priceless with him around. The Uncles, as usual were all so hospitable and made sure all our whims and fancy was catered too- (ahem, mine in particular..*more veggies please, stop..don’t scoop anymore meat onto my plate*) from dedicating a specific driver for us to ensuring only the freshest seafood and produce was serve at their various restaurants in Kowloon for us.
There was some issues harbouring on the mind during this trip, the relaxed mode did provide clarity to some of them. I am somewhat ready for the new change and challenges that lies ahead…coming back from this trip, means the changes will soon be spreading it’s wings and I’ll need to action on the unknown.
Am I ready?
I’ll be lying if I said that I am…but I’m certain that the change will do me good. The three days away with the fogies and family friends, once again ascertain that nothing is impossible, if you believe in yourself and know that you have as great network of support and love surrounding you.
Yes, I am blessed to have all that and more.
