Ran 8.43 KM yesterday.

Yesterday’s attempt at interval training or fartlek went down really well – 3 mins of brisk walking followed by 7 mins of running at 9.0-9.2 km/h sprint speed during the full 1 hr run.

The gym was unusually quiet for a Sunday afternoon, guess with the heavy downpour many chose to be homely homey. I kinda enjoy spending the afternoon in an almost empty gym, only gripe was the music. Seriously, someone needs to get them to change their play list – there was Bieber blasting away *facepalm*. Thank god for mediacorp radio app on the iPhone.

Running is not top on my exercise list, but it usually is, when the mind is feeling lost and needs some form of clarity. It gives me awareness, paces my breathing and banishes thoughts that shouldn’t even exist.

Me think, I should do another round before weights training tomorrow.
