Y’all must be thinking – “why in the world is this woman crazy about staircase design?” .

The fogies thinks I’m rather loony too, the only topic that gets me going with the whole reno topic is the staircase and the 101 staircase designs that I like and want for the new place.

We’re 93% close in firming up the deal. I’m ecstatic and thrilled with all the happening, we may not make it into the new place by Chinese New Year 2012 or my Birthday but am pretty cool with spending such important events in the current place, which has been very kind to us these few years and provided an abundance of memories filled with families and close friends over the festive celebrations, dinner gatherings and so on. With that said, I can’t wait to have the new place up and family/friends over for tea, BBQ, steamboat dinners and so on.

No price for guessing that I’m a ‘timber and all woods’ kinda girl. I love the rustic and cozy vibe it sends off. Now, it’s making sure that Mr. Dad agrees to the designs that I have in mind.
