Sunday: gym- acupuncture- mani/pedi – house viewing
All thanks to the anti-histamine that I popped this morning before gym, which enabled me to do a full 60 minutes on the treadmill. The horrible itch on the legs/thighs/ butt was kept at bay – it was a good run, it cleared my head, blocked out the blues and those sweat…man, I love it.
Followed by an hr of strength training with the PT. The weight has not been coming off as fast as I wish but the body is definitely getting leaner and toner. The diet has changed tremendously – meat has somewhat been wiped out of the daily diet, save for fish at times. I’m not the best dining companion these days but thank god for accommodating peeps – and for never shaking their heads when I opt for salads. Even the folks at the zhi char place has noted my dietary preference and will dutifully suggest, steamed vegetables – depending on the freshest stock of the day – or bean curd for me.
Now who wants to head out for a vegetarian meal with me? 🙂
Never attempted the glitter/sparkly nail look before – kinda teenage if you asked me, but since I was in “one of those moods”….good thing it turned out okay, no?
I need some glitter at work this coming week; it’s going to be a tough week filled with heated debates, entwine with varying emotions and all the in-betweens. God, grant me the strength to make the fairest judgement and decision, possible.
