The weather in the health department has been pretty gloomy this month. The stiff neck/shoulder problem has been acting up and all those antibiotics to cure the viral infection has zapped quit a fair bit out of this body.

Topping it off, I’ve not been to the gym for two weeks – the PT sent a text this morning ‘the equipments misses you very much’…yeaahhh right, hmm don’t think the feelings mutual. Just to set the record straight that was a pretty nice text from the PT, she’s usually a steel mouth and I can’t fathom the torture she’s going to put me through on Wed.

Today’s session at the TCM and stepping on the horrid scale was a good doff back to reality. Oh, how I wish I can burn all the weighing scales in the world, tell me you feel the same too :). I know it’s not merely about shedding the pounds…but shedding the excess would be good. Good things is I’m definitely more in tune with my body now than back in my 20s – and acceptance of the fact that a healthy, energetic, toned physique triumphs over those numbers on the scale.

With that said, it’s back to the gym, healthier choice of food and weekly acupuncture.

All for the sake of a healthier me.
