…is the place to head when you need to rest your tired soles from those endless walking, when you’re sick of the Agnes B cafes (in our case), the heat outside is killing you softly (that sounds lame – but you get my drift) or when you simply, have a sweet tooth to satiate.

We found the place right after having coffee at Agnes B cafe but still, holiday tummy could not say no to local desserts. Besides a dessert menu, local cuisines are also available for breakfast, lunch and dinner – spied the tables around us and had to resist myself from ordering any side dishes.
We ordered the mango pudding (Xiu Liu Shan still tops it for me) and a fruits bean curd bowl that came within a large bowl of cooling ice. The silky, smooth texture of the bean curd topped with fruits is highly recommended – which even the fullest of stomach can find room for it!
There’s few branches around the island – if you’re looking for a cheap, no frills Canto restaurant this is the place to go.
