What constitutes a good plate of paella?

I’m sure my darlings in Portugal would be able to enlighten me on it – but quick click away on the web (what would I do without u!) and I got my answer.

The olive oil, frying the tomato, garlic and onion over low heat, and the rice has to be nicely done (you know not too hard, soft etc). Does this propel me to give the recipe I have on hand a shot?

No way 🙂

Had a delicious plate of seafood paella with Jayne at The Tapas Tree last Friday, along with chicken tapas and how can we forget the traditional sangria? I had endless scoops of the paella and quietly claim it to be the current comfort food of the month for me.

Dinner date, anyone? Hehe

We didn’t make any prior reservation so was thrilled to get a table facing the river; soaking in the evening breeze with undisturbed conversation and great food (reads: carbo).

Nice end to a rather tough week 🙂

[I’m looking forward to more of these impromptu nights, babe!]
