Back in November, we trooped down to Ming Jiang for lunch, making use of UOB’s promotion (makes us sound cheap0!) to celebrate H’s birthday in advance.

Honestly, even looking at the pictures I can’t say ‘I’m dying to head back there again for lunch’. The spread was decent, tummies were satisfied but doesn’t call for second lunch rounds (for me at least). On the other hand, wouldn’t mind heading back for some of its peking duck ..ahh what’s it with me and peking duck?! Can never get enough of it!

Nonetheless, what I do remember from the lunch was the longevity bun – such a classic tradition. Hmm, wonder will I get that for my 30th birthday dinner?

Speaking of birthday dinner-since I’m not heading to HK, there goes my birthday dinner at Dad’s fav restaurant – Lung Keen Heen. There’s always next year I suppose…whilst, this year it’s gonna be a vegetarian dinner. Narrowed few places down …but would love to hear any recommendations from any of you out there!
