Thanks to my wonderful Ah Yi – the whole family went vegetarian tonight. For some of us it was a big plunge out of our carnivorous zone and for the others, it gave a good ponder of the love/hate relationship we have with ‘becoming a vegetarian’ and whether it’s the route to take.
Tonight’s spread was filled with mock seafood, mock meat and loads of vegetables amidst a rich soup brewed with corn, carrot, soya bean and taro.
I made a promise that I’ll try to embrace ‘vegetarian-hood’ again and will start with Meatless Monday.
