Just the other day, bestie and I were reminiscing those days spent in Seoul back in  Dec 2005, freezing our butts off walking along the many streets and alleyways of downtown Seoul but were we happy.

Oh so happy (and young too)!

So in our attempt to reminisce those days we conjure the possibility of doing a Seoul trip in June 2011. I shall not have such high hopes cause you know me …any inch of planning that I do usually ends up in the drain faster than I can yell ‘wait, don’t go’.

But you see…I can’t contain such excitement of potential trips, so over the weekend I plunked myself in front of the laptop and surfed onto must-go , must- see places and there I found the buzzing, vibrant cafe culture in Hongdae (Seoul);

Coffee Prince Cafe ( for the K drama fans)- credit goes to travbuddy.com

Venus Kitchen- credit goes to sleepwalkingintokyo.wordpress.com

Cafe aA The Design Museum- credit goes to the koreantopnews.com

Cafe 1010 – credit goes to http://www.10×10.co.kr/ hongdae300.wordpress.com

I’m sure there’s many other colourful, quaint cafe(s)  in the Hongdae vicinity to be checked out, and personally feels this site – Hongdae300 gives a great breakdown of the cafe culture as the writers aim to cover all 300 cafes in the area.

We shall see if our Seoul June 2011 will come true, but meanwhile, if anyone is heading over this year do check out what’s grooving inSeoul!
